The blaze reportedly started around 2:51 PM local time and rapidly spread across the exterior of multiple towers, fueled by bamboo scaffolding attached to the structure. Fire services raised the incident to a No. 4 alarm—the second most severe level—due to the scale and intensity of the flames. Initial reports indicate that numerous residents were trapped inside the tower blocks, and at least eight people sustained injuries, including one individual with severe burns.
