The United States has successfully conducted a test of the warhead-free B61-12 strategic thermonuclear bomb at a Nevada test site. A report on Saturday (November 15) from the Russian news agency TASS confirmed this information. According to a statement from Sandia National Laboratories under the U.S. Department of Energy, the test of the nuclear weapon was carried out.

The statement noted that in August, the United States successfully tested a B61-12 strategic thermonuclear bomb without a warhead. The tests were completed from August 19 to 21.
